Are you looking to lose a few pounds or just need some motivation
to start moving? Then you’ll want to take advantage
of the Wellness Programs at Saint Mary’s.
The same health care professionals who supervise our Cardiac

for making healthy lifestyle changes, stopping smoking, eating
right, managing stress, and more. All in a fun, safe place
to exercise and learn, and at a very reasonable cost.
Who should participate?
- Anyone who is not sure how to begin an exercise program
– whether they have known risk factors for heart disease
or not.
- Anyone with previous cardiac problems who wants an ongoing,
medically supervised program.
- Anyone who has health concerns such as diabetes, hypertension,
diabetes, overweight or a sedentary lifestyle.
Will insurance cover Wellness?
Wellness programs are not typically covered by insurance,
but are reasonably priced. We encourage you to check with
your insurance carrier to obtain coverage information before
enrolling in one of our programs.
How do I get started?
A doctor’s referral is required to enter both the Cardiac
Rehabilitation and Wellness Programs. Contact your doctor
to ask for a referral or ask one of our staff members to contact
your doctor directly.
