Kidney Transplants
Our Team
Our transplant team consists of nephrologists, transplant
surgeons, urology surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, anesthesiologists,
transplant coordinators, registered nurses, social workers,
dietitians, physician assistants and other specially trained
support staff.
After you have expressed an interest in transplantation,
and have discussed it with your nephrologist, arrangements
can be made for you to be evaluated at Saint Mary's. Each
patient, along with family or friends, is given the opportunity
to discuss transplantation in detail. Specific questions and
concerns can be addressed with a transplant nephrologist and
transplant coordinator. If the decision is made to continue
with the evaluation, you will meet with other transplant team
members.
